The revised edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/annc\/ume-gme.pdf?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=ecfmg-news&amp;utm_campaign=gme-toolkit-2022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transition in a Time of Disruption: Practical Guidance to Support Learners in the Transition to Graduate Medical Education<\/a> <i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i> provides support for the delivery of high-quality patient care while also supporting the well-being, professional development, and equitable treatment of all incoming residents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt the education and training of physicians, and both learners and teachers have shown remarkable resilience,\u201d said William W. Pinsky, MD, CEO of Intealth and President of ECFMG. \u201cIt is our obligation to continue to support them with the latest available information and guidance and to address the unique challenges of international medical graduates entering U.S. training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This resource is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acgme.org\/covid-19\/transition-to-residency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transitions in Medical Education<\/a> <i class=\"fas fa-external-link-alt\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i> series, which also includes toolkits on the transition from residency to fellowship and from residency\/fellowship to practice.<\/p>\n<p>The toolkits are not requirements and are meant to help guide learners and programs.
