This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the organization and advance Intealth\u2019s missions. Trustees serve as volunteers for an initial four-year term, with the possibility of re-election to a second term. Board members contribute meaningfully to Intealth\u2019s long-term strategy and global impact.<\/p>\n<p>Ideal candidates will bring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in leadership and\/or prior board service<\/li>\n<li>A strong capacity for strategic organizational decision making<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrated commitment to professional and personal ethics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nomination Options:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>To self-nominate<\/strong>: Complete the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ecfmgblog.wufoo.com\/forms\/s1yquhei07265a4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Intealth Trustee Nomination Form<\/a><\/em> and upload a current CV or resume where indicated.<\/li>\n<li><strong>To nominate someone else<\/strong>: Send a letter of support and contact information for the proposed nominee to Tracy Wallowicz at <a href=\"mailto:twallowicz@intealth.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">twallowicz@intealth.org<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All nomination materials must be submitted by <strong>Wednesday, July 16, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trustee Selection Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Governance Committee of the Intealth Board of Trustees will review all nominations in August 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Final recommendations will be made to the full Board in September 2025.<\/li>\n<li>Selected trustees will attend a virtual orientation in November 2025, followed by an in-person orientation at the January 2026 Board meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Trustee Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trustees are expected to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accept fiduciary responsibility for Intealth<\/li>\n<li>Abide by the organization\u2019s bylaws and Board policies<\/li>\n<li>Disclose all conflicts of interest<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in:\n<ul>\n<li>Three in-person Board meetings per year<\/li>\n<li>Regular virtual committee meetings<\/li>\n<li>Other assignments, such as appeal hearings and special projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trustees must have the time, interest, and commitment necessary to fulfill these responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>For a full description of the nomination process, see the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intealth.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Call-for-Nominations_Trustee_2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Call for Nominations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>About Intealth<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Intealth is dedicated to advancing the education, training, and credentialing of physicians worldwide through its divisions\u2014ECFMG and FAIMER\u2014and its Exchange Visitor Sponsorship Program (EVSP).
