Resources on Presidential Proclamation

On June 4, 2025, President Trump issued a new proclamation that restricts the entry of certain foreign nationals to the United States. Intealth is closely monitoring the developments surrounding this order and assessing its potential impact on newly matched physicians from other countries planning to begin residency training this summer, as well as such physicians already enrolled in U.S. graduate medical education programs. In addition, we are collaborating with other organizations in the U.S. medical education community to ensure that policy makers understand the essential role that physicians from other countries play in delivering health care across the country.
